The timeline can be navigated with the “Scroll Left” and “Scroll Right” buttons or by dragging the pointer to a date on the timeline waveform (located at the bottom of the screen on the desktop version and on the left of the screen on mobile). To filter by a particular topic and see a smaller section of the data, make a selection on the dropdown “Filters” menu or click “Search” to do a keyword search. Hover over the abbreviated filter tags in the blue boxes to see the complete name of the filter, or click a filter to display all the data with this tag. Standards of care for "gender dysphoria" are defined.

In October, a conference is held by the Harry Benjamin International Gender Dysphoria Association to promote their newly created Standards of Care. The standards provide guidance on everything from hormone therapy to surgical interventions, and everything in between. They will continue to be updated to reflect changing understandings of care in more recent decades after the association is renamed the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH).

However, the standards are critiqued by some members of the trans community based on their framework of pathologizing care and requiring trans people to "prove" their gender identity in order to receive treatment.
